Our client, Gilfresh Produce, are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Assistant (working 20-25 hours weekly) to process wages for 160 employees.

Essential Requirements
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Substantial experience of processing wages using Sage Payroll software
- Knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP
- Knowledge of year end procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel
- Previous experience in maintaining time and attendance systems
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Time and Attendance System
- Timely and accurate processing of weekly wages using Sage software
- Provision of payroll reports
- Completion of statutory returns
- Maintain communication with external departments such as HMRC, CSA and Department for Employment and Learning
- Processing of end of year returns, accurately and on time
- General administration associated with the above
