- Do you have an HNC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in an electro/mechanical/hydraulic engineering environment?

Our client, B9 Energy group of Companies develops and operates renewable energy projects and B9 Energy O&M Ltd is the UK and Ireland’s largest independent wind farm Operation and Maintenance Company. Due to newly acquired and future contracts we wish to appoint an additional Wind Turbine Technician. This position is for wind farms in the Kintyre Peninsula area.
JOB PURPOSE:
- Carry out site operational and maintenance duties including both scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance Respond to breakdown calls
- Respond to breakdown calls
- Site safety and environmental management
To be considered for the position of Wind Turbine technician you must possess the following skills and experience…
· must have an HNC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in an electro/mechanical/hydraulic engineering environment
· Experience in an engineering environment is essential
· full driving licence and have a good degree of physical fitness
· must be confident to work periodically at height and occasionally in adverse weather conditions
· must also be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft office and word
