Accounts Technician
Rockfield Developments Ltd, Ballymena, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Technician to take responsibility for the running of the office. The Accounts Technician will be required to maintain Sage Line 50 with a view to taking accounts to a trial balance stage for review by the site accountant and to manage the administration of the office.
This is a part-time position offering 20 hours per week, with the possibility that hours might increase in the future.
As the Accounts Technician your duties will include….
· Controlling the purchase ledger system
· Production of reports for the Managing Director from Sage Construct
· Monitoring and reviewing budgets and development costs
· Bank reconciliations
· VAT Reconciliations
· PAYE and CIS Returns
· Wages and Salaries
· Office duties, including telephone answering, dealing with all post and filing
What skills, qualifications and experience would the ideal candidate for the position of Accounts Technician possess…..
- Part qualified Accounts Technician or appropriate experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Working knowledge of Sage Line 50
Are there any ‘desirable’ criteria for the role of Accounts Technician….
- 2 years working in a similar role
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry
Salary offered for the position of Accounts Technician will be dependant on your experience and qualifications.
